It has a small town feel with a little slower pace that a city this size. The downtown area is a great place to shop around, have a nice dinner and enjoy the nightlife. Garden of the Gods is one of the main attractions that is in the shadow of Pikes Peak (14,110 above sea level) where Katherine Lee Bates was inspired to write the song America the Beautiful.
